I'm a graduate!!! [Jul. 16th, 2006|12:55 pm]
[mood | happy]

My graduation was on Friday!

It was lots of fun! I was one of the last to walk across the stage, I was very nervous and walked so quickly that all the pics are blurry!
My dad has lots of wonderful pictures of my friends and I outside - including ones of us throwing our hats in the air!

I spent Friday evening and Saturday with my Mum. Reuben is sooo big! He's changed lots since I last saw him. He knows colours! I've dyed my hair black and purple; when he first saw me he looked very confused, but when I spoke he grinned and gave me a huge hug!!!
There's a 5 meter in diameter trampoline in the garden, so I spent most of saturday morning bouncing with my sister Tanya!
Carmen is doing very well, she got straight 5's in her SATs and starts high school in September!!!How scary! She is visting for a week in August, I can't wait! I plan to take her to the science museum, history museum, spend a day putting on face paints and then go to the park for a picnic!, take her shopping!!! and take her to see pirates of the caribbean!!

I spent Saturday afternoon at Gareth's house. He had a bbq to celebrate our graduation - all my uni friends and lecturers were there. I felt very sad on the train home as I realised I wont see most of these people again.

What to do next.. ? I was so happy after my final lecture, but already I'm beginning to get bored. I wouldn't want to do another degree... not at the moment anyway... but I want to be learning something. Hopefully, if Toby is able to, we'll be learning to speak basic japanese at the local university. It's a 30 week 2 hour session course. We wont be able to afford to go to Japan for another few years... so hopefully we wont forget it all! I think lots of anime-watching will be involved!

[mood | giggly]

Well I was a bit worried about moving to London - but i'm having a great time!

I'm near to some family who I rarely see - now they are a short train ride away! So i went to stay with them for easter weekend! Had a GREAT laugh all weekend! For those that know me well - imagine 10 of me giggling all at once! HEHE! Ooo.. and i got a 131 scrabble score in one go!!!

Louise came round while she was staying with her parents.

Went to see Dita Von Teese at a book signing the other week.

Went back to Norwich for my birthday 90s night at the WF!!! WEEE!! Had a great time! Though more Chavs seemed to be there this time, and I ended up getting VERY angry with one of them when they began to hassel Louise - kept asking her to let them feel her 'tits' - How RUDE!!!

On Wednesday I handed in my first CV; within half an hour I had an interview and got a job! Wooo! It's working in a shop, but it is Mon-Fri! The money isn't good, and it's not many hours, but it will do until i find somewhere better!
Toby took me to covent gardens where we ate a lovely waffle with strawberry ice-cream!

Still doing essays... URGH! I've finished one, one more to go - will email them to a friend tomorrow evening who will hand them in for me on Monday. Then I begin my new job on Monday morning!

No more being a lazy student... :( :( :(

Oh... and one of Toby's work friends saw us together on Wednesday. At work the next day, he said to Toby to be more careful; be careful when holding hands with a 16 year old - people will see, and your girlfriend might find out!!!
HUMPH - I was 22 on Wednesday!!!

Edit: Look at my user pic... it's shreiky from the care bears!!! This is the only picture of her I could find!

I am not going to Steph's funeral, but I will be thinking of her and of Simon.
I hope those of you who knew her well are able to say good bye.

Hello,

Does anyone have an XD card for a digital camera I could borrow until Monday 16th?

I have bought a 1gb online but it hasn't arrived and Toby and I are off to Rome early Monday!

I had a boyfriend... all I have now is a person who can't stop smiling and keeps makes random kissing noises in the direction of his xbox 360...

YES, Toby has kissed his xbox.

A girl of about 11 came into work today with her Dad, she asked if the pink feathers we use for a display were for sale. I said no, but they're available to buy from Sin-Sins!!!

Oooops... I don't think her Dad was very impressed with that!!!
